Terms of use
The ground rules.
These ground rules apply when you use appchk.com and when you take part in APPCHK early access. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Who we are
appchk.com and APPCHK are run by Humanly Systems Ltd, United Kingdom. Contact: appchk.com/contact.
Using the site
You may use the site for any lawful purpose. Please do not try to break it or misuse it: no attacks, no attempts to get around Turnstile or other protections, and no automated or bulk form submissions. If you find a security issue, report it as described on our security page.
Authorized testing only
APPCHK analyses mobile apps and, when you choose, runs them on devices. Use it only on apps you own or are explicitly authorized to test, and only on devices you control or are authorized to use. You are responsible for having that authorization.
Early access
Early access is by invitation. It is provided so you can evaluate APPCHK, as it is, and features may change, be limited or be withdrawn while we build. We may end early access at any time. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve APPCHK without obligation to you. The APPCHK command-line tool and APPCHK Cloud will each come with their own licence or terms when released, and those govern your use of them.
What we publish
The site describes APPCHK and its capabilities as they roll out. It is general information, not legal, compliance or security advice. No scanner finds every vulnerability, and no tool can guarantee App Store or Google Play approval.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, the APPCHK name, logo and marks belong to Humanly Systems Ltd unless stated otherwise. You may quote short passages with a link back. Names of standards, organizations and platforms, such as OWASP, MITRE, FIRST, NIST, PCI SSC, Apple and Google, belong to their owners and are used only to identify them; their use does not imply endorsement.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites, including standards bodies, app stores and GitHub. We are not responsible for their content or their terms.
Liability
The site and early access are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you other rights.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
